Questions and answers
Do I get root access to my server?
Yes. Full root access stays with you on every VPS, cloud and dedicated server you rent from us, and each one runs its own operating system.
How much traffic is included?
Every cloud and VPS plan includes 20 TB a month, 30 to 60 TB on the larger tiers, and dedicated servers are unmetered at 1 Gbit/s. Traffic is measured outbound only; inbound is free.
What is the difference between a VPS and a dedicated server?
A VPS gets its own operating system and root access, but its virtual cores run on physical cores that other customers' servers use too. A dedicated server is the whole physical machine, with no hypervisor between your operating system and the hardware.
Can you manage the server for me?
Yes. A managed plan puts us in charge of the server: patches, monitoring, backups and incidents. See managed servers.
